Whether you are looking for somewhere to take your engagement photos or some “just because” photos, here are my favorite spots in Corpus Christi!!

MUSTANG ISLAND STATE PARK

By far Mustang Island State Park is my favorite spot to take photos on the beach in Corpus Christi. The beach here is nicer and less busy than other areas, and it has multiple beautiful spots to give your gallery more variety.

If you are open to driving down the beach just a little bit, there are some jetties that are really beautiful and something so special to you photos! ALSO a bonus is that at some times of year, you can see sea turtles from the jetty! That’s one of my favorite parts!!

DOWNTOWN CORPUS CHRISTI

Downtown offers a variety of beautiful locations and backgrounds and that makes it perfect for your next photo session! Some of my favorite spots are the marina, the cathedral, and People’s Street! If you are wanting to add something fun to your session, I’d also recommend stopping into Lucy’s Snackbar for a cup of coffee and a few cozy coffee shop photos.

There are so many adorable downtown locations that we can stop by while we wander around and enjoy an evening on the town!

ART CENTER OF CORPUS CHRISTI

The Art Center is definitely a spot you will want to look into, especially if you are looking for a good engagement session location! The white structure, the design of the building, and the staircase in the courtyard make for such a beautiful and airy photo spot!

Pro Tip: This location does require a reservation, so I recommend getting on their calendar early. It is also a wedding venue, so some weekends are booked up due to events. Weekdays are a great option for this location!

HERITAGE PARK

If you are into a good vintage front porch vibe, Heritage Park is the place for you. It is a park downtown that has a bunch of old historic houses, and it is a great outdoor location that has a few extra elements to add to your photos. It’s a great spot for a beautiful and playful session, and in the Spring they have BEAUTIFUL flowers that bloom!

It’s definitely a spot to consider when choosing your session location!

NUECES WHISKEY LIBRARY

THIS LOCATION!! It’s amazing, it’s adorable, and during your session, it’s all yours!

This location boasts beautiful, vintage decor and craft cocktails that are SO GOOD! If you are looking for a romantic, glamorous bar session, this is the spot for you.

Pro Tip: Since this location does not allow you to take photos during business hours, they do require a reservation for your session. There is a $150 reservation fee, but with that you get the entire bar to yourself and I think it is 100% worth the money. The photos always turn out AMAZING!

HARBOR LIGHT HOUSE

The Harbor Light House is such a pretty and unique location in Corpus Christi!

The large structure makes for very unique photos and it is adds something really special to your gallery!

Note: This spot is actually an apartment complex and they just opened up a wedding venue, but you can take photos with the buildings in the background from a far.

There are very few fields in Coprus that give that dreamy, country vibe that many clients are looking for, BUT I know of a couple…

YOUR FAVORITE SPOT

If you want your photos to be extra special, the best way to make that happen is to choose a location that you and your partner love! If you love a specific bar, coffee shop, your house, wherever it may be, those will be the photos that you love the most.

When you look back on your images, I want you to remember not only the fun session you had there, but the place you used to go on dates or the place you got proposed to. That is what will take a session from being great to amazing!
