Shelby & Wesley’s beautiful wedding day at Camp Hosea in Anderson, Tx.

How did I get the opportunity to capture this beautiful wedding day? I honestly have no idea.

Shelby reached out to me about capturing her & Wesley’s wedding day back in the fall of 2024. At that time I was living in Florida while Quint, my husband, was doing the first part of flight school for the Navy.

At that point, I didn’t know if we would be staying in Florida for the next year or if we’d be moving back to Texas.

Shelby and I set a time to meet via video chat and she told me all about the beautiful day she was planning for her February 2025 wedding in a small town near Houston, Tx. I was absolutely HOOKED. I wanted to be the photographer for her wedding day, and I was willing to do ANYTHING to do that.

I was open and honest with her that I wasn't sure what was going to happen with out living situation, but if she booked with me, I would be at her wedding- even if I had to drive there from Florida.

Long story short, she booked with me, and we ended up moving back to Texas a couple months before her big day. Everything worked out perfectly and the day was absolutely magical.
