Rain Rain, Don’t Go Away

What do you do on your Elopement day when it decides to pour? You embrace it!

Ydalia and TJ celebrated their wedding by getting married at the courthouse in downtown Pensacola on September 6, 2024. After their intimate ceremony, we had planned to wander around downtown to get photos to commemorate this amazing day, BUT the weather had other plans for us…

As we were about to start taking photos, it began pouring! To avoid getting soaked, we ran into the nearest building which happened to be an art gallery. We asked if we could stay inside until the rain calmed down, and they were kind enough to allow us to take photos inside of the gallery while we waited on the rain.

This may have been the BEST thing that could have happened! We wandered around the grand staircase in the back of the museum, peeked into every room we could find, and took photos of Ydalia and TJ as if they were one of the works of art in the gallery. It was amazing.

After the rain slowed, we decided to brave the outdoors. I brought a little umbrella along for them to use, but they decided they just wanted to embrace the rain! We ran around outside while raindrops fell all around us. They were the best sports about all of it, and the photos turned out amazing!

This will definitely be a session to remember.
